Join us Monday, April 15th through Thursday, April 18th for the 7 Days Community Arts Festival Film Festival. The selection of films focuses on the profound contributions of African people in the 20th and 21st centuries towards the development mass culture within the United States and the world. We particularly focus on the contributions of people of African descent from the state of Mississippi and how they blessed the world.

Monday, April 15th: Style Wars and Floyd Norman, An Animated Life

Tuesday, April 16th: 5 African American Artists and Images of Dignity

Wednesday, April 17th: Blurred Lines and Black Is, Black Ain’t

Thursday, April 18th: The Land Where the Blues Began and Against the Odds

Films start at 6 pm and end at 9 pm at the Kuwasi Balagoon Center for Economic Democracry and Sustainable Development located at 939 W. Capitol Street, Jackson, MS.
