Join Cooperation Jackson in hosting Eleggua, an Afro-Venezuelan Women’s Group for a day of edutainment and cultural exchange.

Eleggua is a group of 9 Afro-descendent women cultural workers from the Barlovento region of Venezuela, who specialize in preserving and transmitting traditional Afro-Venezuelan music to future generations. Eleggua has traveled the world serving as cultural ambassadors for Venezuela and promoters of the gains of the Bolivarian revolution and Afro-Venezuelan history, culture and politics.
