We are very fortunate have Léo Xavier from the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (Movimento de Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra do Brasil, or MST) engage in this transnational grassroots exchange. Over the upcoming months, we will be sharing and learning from one another's experiences with cooperative economic development, agroecological production, agrarian land reform, along with assisting with his English language proficiency, and increasing our understanding of the context of their work in Brazil.
