June 2019 Movie Night: The Spook Who Sat by the Door Join us Saturday, June 29th at 6 pm to watch and discuss the legendary, underground film based on the classic novel of Sam Greenlee, “The Spook who sat by the Door”. “The Spook” was major source of inspiration for the social movements of the 1960’s and 70’s and retains a great deal of insight even today. Join us for a discussion about its merits, implications, and strategies following the film. The film will be shown at the Balagoon Center located at 939 W. Capitol Street, Jackson, MS 39203. Snacks and Drinks will be served.
