Join us Monday, December 9th and Tuesday, December 10th at 6 pm at the Kuwasi Balagoon Center for Economic Democracy and Sustainable Development for this critical visioning session about the two flagship properties of the Fannie Lou Hamer Community Land Trust. The Balagoon Center is located at 939 W. Capitol Street, Jackson, MS.

We are inviting members and the neighborhood for sessions to continue envisioning the Ewing Street Eco Village and to begin concrete ideas for the Ida B Wells Plaza.

We will be continuing our collaboration with architect Nandini Bagchee and explore plans for aquaponic cultivation, farmers market and affordable housing prototypes on Cooperation Jackson’s community land trust lots. We aspire to envision and shape the Transition City collectively with input from our members and the West Jackson community at large.
