A Virtual Discussion on
“Asian and Black Solidarity and Struggle: Organizing in the time of COVID19”
NuAfrikans (Black folks in the US) have a history of working shoulder to shoulder with Asian peoples - both here and abroad - but we also have real concerns about antiBlackness in Asian communities here and in Asia, as well as what China is currently doing in Afrika.
Likewise, the real concerns that we have MUST NOT be used to piggy back on or complement the xenophobia and hate violence that amerikkkan imperialism breeds and needs in order to function.
Join us for a discussion with folks who have their feet firmly planted in their communities and the academy as we discuss how to survive together thru this pandemic, as well as build the new world we want to live in.
