Each year, farmers, health practitioners, market managers, chefs, legislators, students, teachers and local food advocates come together in Mississippi for our annual Mississippi Food Summit & Agricultural Revival. They share successes stories, problem-solve barriers, provide opportunities, and discuss issues that connect their diverse specialties to the fundamental necessity that we all have to eat and right now our food system is not reflective of our priorities – which is a truly equitable, sustainable, and localized food system. With the ultimate goal to educate, inspire, and empower one another the Mississippi Food Summit & Agricultural Revival is truly a one-of-a-kind gathering that has something for the whole family.
Kali Akuno will be representing Cooperation Jackson on Saturday, November 8th from 1:00pm - 2:00pm on the "Mississippi Growing Alternative Economic Models" panel.
